Nancie Lopez, LMT, CFST
Nancie has been a Massage Therapist since 1995. She graduated from the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts in Arizona.
She started her career by working at desert Mountain Golf Club and soon realized she had an entrepreneurial spirit calling out to be expressed. She left the Spa and started her own business. She has spent the past 20 years going to her clients' homes for their treatments.
Nancie has set herself apart from other professionals by focusing her practice and her continuing education on Gait and Postural analysis, Myofascial Release, Neuromuscular and Deep Tissue Therapy. Also, she practices Stretch Therapy (FST) and Sports Injury Management. Treating as well as educating her clients on how to take care of themselves is a primary feature of her practice. In addition, she is also using cold laser and electrical stimulation in her treatments, especially for those clients with an injury. Nancie is also Titleist Performance Institute Certified.
Nancie left her career in retail management once she found her passion: she has excelled in it and has never looked back. She keeps advancing and growing her career.
Her business partner, Pagona Xenos, with whom she shares the same work ethic, practice philosophies and education background, is the perfect teammate as they grow Wellspring Integrated Therapies into a fully integrated clinic.
Fitness and nutrition are very important to Nancie. She receives great satisfaction by helping others reach their health goals. On a personal level, she enjoys working out, outdoor sports and has a love for music and the arts. Don't be surprised to have her singing your treatment plan. Nancie is also a big lover of animals and likes to spend her spare time with animal rescue facilities.
Pagona Xenos, LMT, CFST
Pagona takes great pride in offering a unique experience and treatment to every client who comes to her. Since graduating from the International Massage Institute (IMI) in Michigan, she has remained dedicated to her continuing education and professionalization, developing numerous specialties along the way.
Originally, Pagona believed she was destined for a different career path. She came to America from Greece at the age of 17 and went on to graduate from Wayne State University with a degree in Speech Therapy. Pagona focused her efforts on working with children who had Asperger's-Autism spectrum disorders. At a conference of practitioners in this field, she was deeply moved by the words of Temple Grandin, a high-functioning person with autism and world-renowned autism awareness advocate, who spoke about the power of touch and autism. At that moment, Pagona suspected she had found her true calling.
After completing her schooling in massage therapy, Pagona was fortunate to begin working with masters in the fields of Neuromuscular and Deep Tissue Therapy. This also enabled her to specialize in physical rehabilitation. Since then, following the encouragement of her mentors, Pagona has added even more modalities to her practice -- Myofascial, Sports, Stretch Therapy and, her personal favorite -- Prenatal Massage -- are what give Pagona the unique range of skills and experience to achieve just the right solution for each client.
Pagona is also deeply committed to giving back: she raises money and volunteers her time for the Guerrant Foundation, which provides microloans to women in third world countries and helps them start their own businesses. As an entrepreneur herself, she realizes the importance of empowering women to earn a living that supports both themselves and their families.
Her other passion is travel. She returns to her homeland -- Greece -- at least once a year, bringing friends and tourist groups in tow. As a local, she shows them a side of Greece that few ever get to see...and they love her for it!
Pagona's philosophy, when it comes to her clients, is that every BODY has a story to tell. No two clients get the same treatment. She listens to what their bodies need and she works in harmony with that need to help every client leave the clinic feeling cared for and rejuvenated.
